Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

Hey there guys, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, seeing how it’s happening in two days. Or, in case you don’t celebrate Christmas, then happy holidays! Thanks for your continued use and support of the site.

2016 will be all about making Amiibo Dojo the #1 training resource on the web. Once I can update all my existing guides (which I manually test before releasing) and release new guides for all the characters I don’t have yet, there’ll be no contest: no other site offers in-depth training guides on every character like the Dojo does.

What happens when I release guides on every character? We’ll see. I don’t see that as the “end” of me posting guides. In fact, when Amiibo Dojo gets guides on every character, it’ll be complete. I’ll probably update guides, post new training methods, and keep you guys in the know about all things amiibo training. Again, thanks so much for your continued use of the site. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Huh. So you clicked “Read More” even though the message I typed up looked like it was done? Well, good for you. I’ve got a small spoiler on things to come.

Announcing For Fun & For Glory guides!

You may be thinking…”Wait, Amiibo Dojo is going to have guides on playing the For Fun and For Glory modes in Super Smash Bros.’ online play?! Heck yes!!!” Well, no, that’s not it. In the amiibo training world, some people want amiibos to practice against or to use as sparring buddies. They don’t want to deal with equipment. They don’t want their amiibos to feel unfair. And I get that. However, if you don’t give your amiibo equipment, it will never win a tournament unless said tournament only allows vanilla amiibos.

Basically, if you’re training an amiibo with no equipment, you’re probably training it For Fun.

But for me…I train my amiibo for GLORY. In the world of amiibo training, it’s kill or be killed. And I want to make sure my amiibos don’t get killed.

From here on out, I will be creating TWO guides for every character. One for FUN, which tailors to those of you who train vanilla amiibo. And one for GLORY, which tailors to those of you who want to give your amiibos equipment.

That’s all for now. See you next year…well, probably not. I have some new guides coming soon. Like, this year.

  2. Sweet! Amazing as ever, Cloud. I can’t WAIT for the For Fun guides. I also can’t wait for a Marth amiibo guide, but mainly For Fun guides ❤
