If you’re itching to compete in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo tournament, you’ve come to the right place! The Amiibo Dojo tournament archive compiles everything you need to know about ongoing amiibo tournaments – including their rules, submissions, and due dates.
How do I enter a tournament?
Entering amiibo tournaments is a bit complicated at first, but once you memorize the steps, it’s really easy! You’re going to need an Amiibo Powersaves, which costs about $30 USD and is readily available from retailers like Amazon and GameStop. Plug it into your computer and install the program, and you’ll be able to place your amiibo on top of the device itself. You can then click “Backup” and a copy of your amiibo’s chip file will be saved to your computer in .bin format (C:/Users/(Your Username Here)/Powersaves for AMIIBO). Once you email this .bin file to a tournament host, you’ll be good to go and ready to compete!
Alternatively, you can use an NFC-compatible Android device to extract the amiibo’s file. Download the amiiqo application and follow the in-app instructions to save a .bin file to your device’s storage. Attach it to an email and hit send to submit your amiibo to the tournament host!
A full list of ongoing tournaments is provided here. If you would like to submit your competition to the database and accept entries from site readers, please use the contact form and provide the tourney’s date, rules, bracket, and submission email.
