Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 8 (Infinity Gauntlet Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2015. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting.

As the years go by, our world is becoming more and more dangerous. A perfect example of this is the fact that CFA’s popularity is at an all-time high, and that Thanos is now a canon character in the series. I never thought I’d stoop to this level, but here we are. Let’s how this one goes. Just going to get this out there — I don’t own anything from the Marvel Cinematic Universe; this is all just a silly parody. Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 7 (Sealed Shadows Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2015. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting.

Unfortunately, popular demand has spawned a seventh season. Since this will be the first series I’ve made in over three years, I’ll be trying my best to retain the low-level visuals of the original episodes. It’s actually a lot more difficult than you might think! Either way, I recommend you don’t read this. Continue reading Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 7 (Sealed Shadows Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Fan-Made Episodes

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2015. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting.

Believe it or not, CFA has had enough fans to generate a multitude of fan-made episodes. Although rare, these episodes are drawn by different artists and feature radically different art styles and storylines. Most of them are rather old, but then again, all of CFA is!

A full history of Cloud’s Forum Adventures “predicting” Kirby games

It’s no secret that I’m not proud of Cloud’s Forum Adventures. Not only does it look childish (which makes sense, given that I was twelve years old when I made it), but its story is very difficult to follow and often makes zero sense. And despite being a clear ripoff of the Kirby franchise, CFA actually has some similarities to its plot… or should I say, the Kirby series has similarities to CFA’s plot.

That’s right: there are many happenings in CFA that are extremely similar to events in Kirby: Planet Robobot and Kirby Star Allies. Except the CFA episodes were actually released first! Of course, this is most certainly a coincidence, but today, we’re going to compare their plot elements and see what looks the same. Spoilers ahead!

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Extra Episodes & Unreleased Content

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2015. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting.

Over the course of CFA’s lifespan, there were several attempted “reboots” that received one or two episodes before being abruptly cancelled. This post archives all of these episodes and even includes a few that were never released to the general public.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 6B (Nightmare Legion Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2015. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting. But this saga is the exception.

The second iteration of the Nightmare Legion saga was the seventh and final story arc of the series. It’s the best one, too: massively improved visuals, somewhat competent dialogue, and a storyline that isn’t too hard to follow. It’s still brought down by its Kirby-centric designs, but that would’ve been difficult to change. Continue reading Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 6B (Nightmare Legion Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Season 6A (Nightmare Legion Saga)

Cloud’s Forum Adventures (often shortened to CFA) was an awful comic series I worked on from 2012 to 2014. You’ll see what I mean just by reading one episode: its characters are dull, its plot is cliche, and its visuals are awkward and uninteresting. It’s about as fun to read as it sounds.

The first iteration of the Nightmare Legion saga was the sixth story arc of the series. Cloud appears in the land of Imagina and must defeat four Nightmares: Lindol, Odium, Verlust, and… well, you’ll have to read and find out. This was cancelled after 30 episodes, and it isn’t going to be continued in the future. Trust me, it’s for the best. Please note: this saga may be disturbing to some viewers (no, this is not a joke).
